In 1990 Mode Lighting introduced the first fully dimmable electronic transformer for low voltage lighting. Dimmable with any type of dimmer these quickly became the first-choice of designers for high quality installations. The range now comprises a number of products covering power ratings from 5w to 315W, 12v and 24v versions, self dim controls and OEM models for mounting into luminaires.
With the advent of retrofit LEDs the requirement for stable control of MR16, AR111 and capsule lamp LED replacements there has been a shortage of high quality, reliable transformers that provide smooth dimming of these lamps. Our designs are very well suited to these applications and a variety of products are available to met these demands.
