It was great to be back at the fourth edition of the LiGHT Exhibition at the Business Design Centre in Islington last week.
Demonstrating the full capabilities of lighting control on an exhibition stand is always a challenge, but the Mode Lighting team rose to the occasion. The stand showcased the versatility and power of our systems — from shading control and tuneable white lighting to the integration of wireless technology and a wide range of control options, including the stunning Invisible Switches from Forbes & Lomax.
LiGHT 25 was a brilliant opportunity to connect with the design community — roll on LiGHT 26!
Art Meets Control
A special thank you goes to Jen Kimber of Kimber Kreative (@kimberkreative_artwork) who brought a unique artistic touch to our display. Jen created a beautiful print of our head office building in Ware, which became the centrepiece of our retro-fit lighting controls feature.
Our SceneStyLED keypad was mounted onto a Forbes & Lomax primed plate that Jen hand-painted to blend seamlessly into her artwork — a perfect demonstration that technical innovation and design creativity can work hand in hand.
The original artwork is now proudly on display at The Maltings, Ware — home of Mode Lighting
Integration in Action
Shading control made simple.
Visitors to LiGHT 25 saw first-hand the shading control capabilities of the eDIN+ system, which offers precise, intuitive control of individual blinds, voiles, and curtains — including accurate hem-line position adjustment. This feature allows automated changes to suit different conditions, such as preventing afternoon glare, setting a room for presentations, or creating a cosy evening atmosphere.
The system demonstrated integration with NICE and UMBRA shading solutions, showcasing how lighting and shading can now work seamlessly together within one unified platform.
The show was a fantastic opportunity to connect with designers, integrators, and specifiers — and to share how Mode Lighting continues to make control. simplified.
